We did more of a nature walk than a hike. There are plenty of side trails you can take, however there are warning signs and since those signs included rattlesnakes and rams, there was no off-road exploring for us. There is one particular red rock formation we did walk up, but most of the structures are for permitted rock climbing only.

In short, the rocks are gorgeous and the place is definitely worth exploring! We didn’t get to make it there on this trip, but you can see also see the magnificent Pike’s Peak in the distance.
