Starting at Old Blue Hills Rd and ending at Cream Pot Rd, Durham ~ 7 miles- 3hrs 20mins. (1.3 is on the Blorange Trail to get to Blue).

This section of the Mattabesett continues to be the sparkly trail. There are chunks of quartz everywhere and Mica Ledges. The trail starts with some up hill and levels off for a good distance and right at the end (when we were feeling it) goes up hill again.

The Mica Ledges are awesome. We renamed the rock to David Bowie.

The mica grows off of the rock like mushrooms and there are lots of pieces of quartz.
